Hi Guys! Well Avril is coming out with a cd and it is due out on October 9! 2007 It comes with interviews that talk about the release of her third album. Avril's "HOT" New Single

Avril Lavigne has a new single ("Hot") and the music video for "Hot" has been shot. The music video was shot in New Jersey and it was announced in a press release that the video has a '1920s' burlesque theme. "Hot" hasn't been officially released on the radio yet though. Her current single, "When You're Gone" is doing awesome on the radio and it is still climbing 2 the top. The video is expected to premiere sometime next month. Avril Sued

I was reading Avril news ( like 1 month ago) and I heard that some 70s band called the Rubinoos are suing Avril because they think their song "I wanna be your boyfriend" sounds like "Girlfriend" and I checked with my parents and they have never heard of the band. So I don't know how Avril (who wasn't even born yet) could copy her song from theirs. The only similar thing about the song that *I* can hear in "Girlfriend" is the fact both have the phrase "Hey! Hey! You! You!"... followed by Avril singing "I don't like your girlfriend" or "I want to be your girlfriend" and the Rubes singing "I wanna be your boyfriend"...You can hear a sample of the Rubes song here on their site (mp3 format) or from Amazon's site. (PC wma format) Personally I think that is BULL SPIT!! I know 4 a fact Avril ALWAYS write her own songs!!!! So if u disagree with me then you can either leave a comment or vote on the poll! She is currently working on a new movie "The Flock" and her character is Beatrice Belle and the release date is November 2007 plus "The Best Damn Thing" is currently the second best selling album of 2007 (Behind Linkin Park) congrats 2 Avril and another movie "Twist Of Fate" (she will be playing the lead role) which will release in 2008.
